Anyway, I love crafty swaps, but somehow I struggled with this one. Kendra doesn't wear jewelry, which is mostly what I make, and this exchange happened to fall right in the middle of my husband's month-long business trip overseas and I just felt kinda swamped. Anyway, Kendra did mention that she liked to scrapbook, so I found this little album and pack of paper to send her.
I also really wanted to make her a wreath to hang in her house, since she said she liked decor - but I just couldn't find the time to get to the craft store. So, I made my frame out of an old (clean) pizza box and decorated it with some gorgeous satin ribbons I found in my craft box. It's not exactly front-door-worthy, but it might look nice on an interior wall.
Anyway, it didn't turn out quite like I imagined (I'm terrible at making bows, apparently), but she claims she liked her package, so I guess I got the job done. (also, I apologize for the crummy pictures - my camera is getting old and doesn't like taking pictures at night *sigh*)

You really did well Cat, I actually wear bracelets at times but we won't tell that ok? ;) I think our link up was interesting because of how different we are. The purses you pinned were nothing like what I would choose and I actually don't even like the color orange but it seems you do so I rolled with it and you love it. You didn't even know what do do for me because of obvious lifestyle differences and yet you nailed it as well. I think perhaps that was the whole point of this link up. :)
